ORBIT Valve Servicing and Maintenance Guide

ORBIT valves are designed to require a minimum amount of maintenance, however, a minimum amount of maintenance will ensure maximum performance and a long lifespan.

Lubrication is a key factor to extending the lifespan of ORBIT valves. The frequency of lubrication varies according to the application and usage.

ORBIT Valve Planned Maintenance Guidelines

  • At least yearly maintenance of valves
  • Quarterly lubrication if valve is operated infrequently (once a day or less)
  • Servicing every 1,000 cycles if valve is operated more than 10 times a day
  • Servicing every 500 cycles if the valve is used in corrosive or other severe services and operated more than 10 times a day
