ORBIT valves are designed to require a minimum amount of maintenance, however, a minimum amount of maintenance will ensure maximum performance and a long lifespan.
Lubrication is a key factor to extending the lifespan of ORBIT valves. The frequency of lubrication varies according to the application and usage.
ORBIT Valve Planned Maintenance Guidelines
- At least yearly maintenance of valves
- Quarterly lubrication if valve is operated infrequently (once a day or less)
- Servicing every 1,000 cycles if valve is operated more than 10 times a day
