The TANKSERT rupture disc is a composite type, with a flat seat sealing configuration. It fits both threaded- and bolted-type safety vent assemblies. It features:
- Self-aligning vacuum support to assure proper positioning in the safety vent assembly.
- Vacuum support to prevent seals from becoming damaged should a pressure surge occur during transit or unloading.
- Capability to withstand full vacuum.
- A non-fragmenting design
- Inlet fluoropolymer gaskets for a leak-tight seal
- Optional #14 or #20 bee screens to protect openings from insects or airborne particles after a disc ruptures.
